Diana observes…

Community speak: New Blogs on IB!

Sometimes when I moderate blogs there are some exceptionally beautiful blogs out there. They are so visually appealing that it feels like I am actually there or I would like to reach into their cooking and take a bite out their amazingly created dishes. Today’s blogger Pallavi Shastry shares some of her mouth watering recipes on her blog http://www.purplecinnamon.com which makes me want to drop what I am doing and try out a few of her recipes.

Another interesting blog that I came across this week was “Vedgetarian –  An edgy vegetarian blog for foodies around the world” written by Shubham where he has found some very interesting vegetarian places to eat out not only in India, but abroad as well.

Most Fashion and lifestyle blogs are written by women, very rarely do we get to read about a Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle blog written from a man’s perspective. Do visit La Phosphenes blog by Jatin Gandhi to see what he says about Fashion and Beauty products.

Readers don’t forget there are more wonderful bloggers joining Indiblogger.in this week, do visit the blogger directory to meet them all.

Vineet thinks about 9 years of IndiBlogger…

While 9 years since IndiBlogger was founded may seem a lot; it doesn’t to me. It feels like yesterday. It’s hard to forget all the moments, and they’re fresh as they were when they happened. In all those moments IndiBlogger has taught me a lot, and here are some of the important life lessons which everyone should know!

9 things IndiBlogger taught me

  1. How to make an entry
    taher
  2. Spam the controls of Mortal Kombat
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lf2GLqwhWuc
  3. How to dance
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EId6FMoFuM
  4. You can’t see through a burqa

I walked straight into a wall and was roaming around the rest of the blogger meet with a Rudolf sized nose.

  5. Be attentive
    thangams
A lot can happen if you’re not paying attention.
  6. Know your super power.
I can read the paper, drink coffee and do the Pappu squat – in one go.
pappusquatNihal too has a super power. Here he is, showing off. What’s your super power?
    nihal
  7. Be quick, or be chicken
In one the Halloween parties, there were a bunch of costumes for all of us to put on. Since I was following rule number 8 below I had to settle for this costume.
    pappu-chicken
  8. Be quick, or be hungry
If there is food, it shall be eaten. The beef gets over first, followed by pork. Vegetarian food is generously donated to Karthik. The other item which vanishes very quickly is the bone marrow Anoop saves for the last.
  9. Passwords are precious
Once in a while or very often things like these can happen:
    passwords

I unabashedly love Indiblogger. Have been associated with you for many years. Can’t forget one of your anniversaries when I won a blogging award. You guys have grown over the years but have stayed as down-to-earth, honest and fun as you always were. You put the blogger in the limelight and are always open to feedback. Very refreshing! I think this is what sets Indiblogger apart in its category. Here’s wishing you many more accolades and fulfilling years!
