BNLF is Now Live – Part One

An expansive, ambitious, over the top and one of the craziest ideas ever thought of in IndiBlogger has begun its first day of execution! Join us as we take a first look at our thoughts behind this event in this post.

“Blog Now, Live Forever” will henceforth be called BNLF.

The first event from the BNLF series will be held in Mumbai on October 31st at the hotel Lalit. We chose a specific area in this venue because we didn’t want this event to be in a square hall with pretentious chandeliers and a couple of projector screens. We wanted something rugged that we could take and create an experience that would be in peoples minds for ages to come.

The event is all about blogging. When creating the agenda, we took a deep look into some of the critical, tangible and intangible components that made up blogging. We wanted some of the best to shed light on the passion, the skill, the commitment, the various avenues, technologies and those little qualities that added up to the cornerstone of success that bloggers claim to have achieved. This will indeed be the sacred congregation of the Pioneers Of Blogging.

Any blogger living anywhere in the world, can apply for passes that are free. Unfortunately we cant get everyone down so there is going to be a screening process. For this first event, we feel that people who have great editorial content will be able to really make use of the event. In light of this we are looking at people who love writing and write consistently on their blogs and have created a niche of their own. If you feel that your blog has these elements we would love to have you on board as the agenda really helps the more experienced and focused bloggers.

For IndiBlogger members, we are pretty sure that we have spoilt most of you in some cities at least, by conducting events in your back yard and you could probably roll out of bed, take an auto and attend a meet. For the BNLF series, we would encourage you to travel from whichever part of India you are living in. Every part of this meet is carefully constructed with key ideas that we cannot recreate in every city. So get off your backsides and we’ll see you there.

For this BNLF event, we have delegates who can purchase tickets to attend. The reception that we received from our very generous clientele has led to over 150 passes being sold even before the site went live! There is without doubt, a shift in the thought process as most who run campaigns with us have started to understand the value of gaining a real following as opposed to current trends of just propagating information that people may or may not need. I believe that advertisements are for TV and the news. The internet is meant for something far greater.

The next couple of years with BNLF is going to be action packed and fun! We welcome everyone to come on over , take a look at the site, give us feedback, shout out a resounding  “Hell Yeah” and basically have some fun just as we did creating this program.

We will be back for the next post “BNLF is Now Live – Part 2” soon as we take a deeper look at the agenda, the thought behind it, the infamous IndiBlogger backstage party and more about how you guys can be a part of it.

Until next time  \m/ \m/

Hell Yeah Anoop. Though I was thrilled to make it to Mumbai, I was having my reservations committing to a travel schedule that far so much in advance. You are really tempting me to go for it. Can I attend the Day 1 alone and return back? let me know.

All the best Indiblogger team! You guys Rock!

    Best
    Katie

Hey Katie! Thanks for the comment. Day 1 and Day 2 are two different environments although in the same hotel but you can choose to attend one day or two.

  2. This has come out like a powerful bullet , hitting the message right through the nail
Blogging cannot be held in a bigger capacity than this, anywhere else in the world and completely in awe of the IB team to think completely in a non linear fashion. “Vera Level” as they say in Tamil , totally trying to get into this conference somehow.
Keeping fingers crossed for the same (Would be a huge plus if I could be sponsored too 🙂 )

    • anoop says:

Ha ha ,.. yea Karthik .. this is definitely “Vera Level” :-).

There is no scope for sponsorship for this event. Its quite high budget at the moment as you can see. So the least everyone who gets passes can do is travel! 🙂

Best Wishes to the Indi team for organizing an event at such a large scale. You People are taking Indi Bloggers and their achievements at a global level. Cheers !!!

This is amazing and it surely promises to be one of the best show ever on earth for crazy and passionate bloggers like me.

It will be wonderful to see delegates coming in from various corners of the country, the tickets are priced quite steep for them.

Would appreciate if you can inform me how I would be eligible to attend as an Indiblogger member.

This is one event, I would die for, honestly.

    • anoop says:

Hi Sanjay, This will be one of the greatest shows on earth! 🙂

As far as the passes go, we have allocated 80% of the seats to bloggers passes so most of you guys should be able to make it. The delegate passes are almost sold out.

      • Sanjay Thampy says:

        Hi Anoop,

Thanks for the prompt reply and it was surely heartening to see that 80% of the seats have been reserved for bloggers.

It would surely be an honor for me to be part of perhaps the greatest blogging show on earth and I am eagerly looking forward to it.

Already dreaming of sharing views and ideas with the greatest minds of the blogging world.

      • Sanjay Thampy says:

        Hi Anoop,

I remember having seen a post that the attendees for the BNLF would be declared between the 1st to 3rd Sept. I find quite a few names there today but mine is missing.

Should I still keep hope or its closed.

  6. wonderful this is really tempting

  7. The mere thought of something like this is a ‘mad’ one.
Mad- as in passionate, unique and very futuristic.

Making it work? I thought that would really be difficult.
But Ind Blogger seems to be doing exactly that- making it work and how! Would love to be a part of this one of its kind initiative and experience the buzz, excitement a whole lot of learning first hand.

Wishing you the very best and many more milestones for the future…

  8. karan kumar says:

Kudos to the team for conceptualizing and finally organizing it .

Best wishes to all . Look forward for the Delhi Chapter soon.

    Cheers/
    Karan

    • anoop says:

Hey Karan, I would suggest you forget about the Delhi chapter and make it to Mumbai. You never know how things play out. I would definitely suggest to attend as many BNLF’s as possible. If you are serious about blogging that is..

  9. Any interaction involves blogging is interesting to me… and writing is what I try to do daily.
Yes, I do look forward to being there and open to all the writing-ideas that I know will be floating around.

  10. I really look forward to attending this event. My 9-year-old blog “When the Muse Strikes!” has great editorial content (see http://2brahulprabhakar.blogspot.in). Needless to say, I love writing consistently on my blog. I’ve applied for a pass and now wait with bated breath 🙂

  11. Congratulations and kudos to Inditeam for finally kicking the first BNLF off the initiation ground. I am thrilled to see the Speakers list. Full of excitement and would really love to be a part of it. Will definitely try to be there. Hope to get leaves to travel down to Mumbai and succeed in my endeavor. Cheers! 🙂

PS – Anoop, please do keep writing. 😛

    • anoop says:

Hey Abhsishek, Yea we had goose bumps when creating this list 🙂

Actually BNLF was an idea conceptualized when I was writing the “Not so weekly diary” on Indi 🙂 I had to step away so i could focus on getting this done. I will be back to writing soon! Thanks for the encouragement among other things.

      • My encouragement to you will only get me to read more fun-filled posts from you. So it’s for my benefit, you see. 😛 It’s high time I get a notification for your follow-up comments. I think I overdid praising Renie for all the webapps he is making and handling at the HRC in Bangalore. Sigh! Anyways, fingers crossed for additional features and yes, not to forget to get an invite to BNLF Mumbai both front & backstage extravaganzas! 😛

  12. SUJATA TAWDE says:

    Dear IndiBloggers
I am 100% sure BNLF is going to be a Hard-rocker with content-rich Bloggers from all over the World.

  13. GOOD LUCK. Waiting for the day when BNLF would be visiting my city of Kolkata. Blogging has brought me rewards and I enjoy blogging. Again, I wish the entire team at Indiblogger great success.

    • anoop says:

Hey Haimanti, This is an all India conference, so i would suggest that you don’t wait for Kolkata. With big budget events like this you never know. It may not materialize on the date prescribed on the website.

  14. This is simply amazing. Too excited. I might just wander outside the hotel if I don’t get a pass! 😛

  15. Sherna Jay says:

Wow. This is gonna be awesome indeed. I would really look forward to this event. There will be so much knowledge to soak up 😀 I just can’t wait! Whew! Kudos Indi Team for getting this arranged.

  17. Rio De La Sciocco says:

Great minds at work. I too plan Mumbai trip, to gain blogging insights. Meet great minds. Excited, or may be over excited. God knows.

    • anoop says:

LOL .. well in my book there nothing called “over excited”. When the whole agenda for BNLF got sorted , I threw quite a few things around including a chair and broke a mug .. I think that’s acceptable 🙂

  18. Maneesh says:

This sounds super crazy and happening in my favourite city Mumbai. So looking forward to be a part of this. Hopefully i will get through. Finger Crossed.

  21. SUJATA TAWDE says:

I want to participate in #BNLF and win the coveted #BNLF Limited Edition MUG before Anoop breaks them all in a flurry of EXCITEMENT called #BNLF.

For me as an IndiBlogger, participating in BNLF is all about gaining the Gyan from Social Media Masters, keeping up with Buddy-Bloggers ( more than 12,000 ) as well as cheering for Team IndiBlogger.

  22. Pratik Patil says:
